Cayos Cochinos Marine Reserve full day tour
This incredible paradise
is composed of 12 extremely beautiful, different
sized keys. Cayos Cochinos are located on
the second largest barrier reef in the world and
just a 40 minute boat ride from the coasts of
La Ceiba. Our excursion includes visits to the
Chachauate key, which is inhabited by local Garífuna
fishermen, decedents of the African slaves brought
by the Spanish during the Conquest.
Later, we will cruise
along the different keys to contemplate the
beautiful scenery and will have an opportunity
to swim and sunbathe at a beautiful beach. Snorkeling
will also be available to observe the great natural
wonders hidden underwater.
