Pico Bonito hiking
The largest wildlife protected
area in Honduras. This majestic, lush mountain
of exuberant vegetation is the perfect setting
for your very own close encounter with nature.
We will take a hike through the park’s
trails and learn about the cloud forest ecosystem
and its flora and fauna from our expert guides.
Great panoramic views await
at the observation towers. You will also have
the chance to swim in the crystal clear waters
of the Bonito River at the natural spot formed
by La Sirena waterfall. We will enjoy a tasty
lunch and then visit the butterfly farm, and the
serpentary, we depart early morning and return
mid afternoon. Word of caution: Bring
insect repellent!
