Full day at Roatán island
You will depart early morning
to La Ceiba airport and catch a short 20 minutes
flight to Roatán island. Upon arrival you
can take a cab or rent a car and explore this
island on your own. This part of Honduras, of
distinct Caribbean flavor, it is extremely unique.
The locals speak English and enjoy a relaxing
lifestyle. Roatán is known as one of the
best scuba destinations in the world. It is visited
by cruise ships and thousands of tourist every
year, yet still retains its authenticity and unspoiled
ambience.
Places to visit include
the communities of Coxen Hole, Coral Key, the
artisan’s market place, West End or you
might choose to have an encounter with the dolphins
at Anthony’s Key Resort . You can visit
Roatán´s museum , or just spend your
time at Roatán’s must beautiful beach,
West Bay, to sunbathe, swim or snorkel. Late afternoon
you will catch a flight back from Roatán´s
airport to La Ceiba. Word of caution:
