07. Gumbalimba Park & Canopy Tour
Your guests will be taken to the canopy tour on West Bay Hill, where they will glide through the tops of the trees, enjoying life from the top of Roatan’s jungle! The West Bay Canopy has 11 platforms, runs over a man-made lake and swing bridge, and ends in an animal and pirate theme park.
Once guest near the end of the canopy tour, our guide will introduce them to Gumbalimba Park, where they will be able to play with “jump-on-your-shoulder” monkeys, watch free-flying exotic birds, iguanas, turkeys and other exotic animals. The park also includes a botanical garden with over 200 colorful plant and tree species, numerous waterfalls and fountains, and a hanging bridge suspended over a pond.
At Gumbalimba, guests can also expect to be delighted by the mysteries of Coxen’s Cave, a replica of a cave once used by the famous pirate of the same name. The cave includes artwork, history, life-sized pirates, weapons and treasure maps and, of course… Treasure!
