01. City Tour:
Pick up at designated place (airport or hotel). First we will visit the Guamilito market, because shopping in San Pedro Sula can be fun. This market is the best place to purchase everything from rum, Cigars, coffee and vanilla, as well as handicrafts to take home as souvenirs. You will be able to view local woman selling natural flowers from all over Honduras.
The first rule at Guamilito is you barter any price that is given to you. As a general rule, you should be able to pay between 15% and 20% less than the original price you were quoted. They have several different quality products. As for handicrafts, the most attractive are the handmade wood carvings, as well as the weaved baskets and Panama hats from Santa Bárbara. The items have colorful patterns and are a real bargain.
Last, but not least, Honduran cigars have become an excellent souvenir or gift to take back home. After this visit we will enjoy brunch in this nice cafe in front of the market, after that we will take a tour of the city & it’s beautiful sides, then head to El Progreso where in route we will see the Banana plantation, then we will visit Imapro Mahogany factory. In this place you can see the artisans working beautifully doing chests, doors, and many products made of wood. After 3 hours we take you back.
